Pela primeira vez o agricultor Vilmar Rodrigues, pequeno produtor da comunidade de linha Col\u00f4nia Nova do munic\u00edpio de Nova Prata do Igua\u00e7u, plantou em sua propriedade legumes em maior quantidade e com qualidade org\u00e2nica. O agricultor j\u00e1 colheu v\u00e1rias unidades de tomates com mais de 800 gramas e ab\u00f3boras moranga coroa com mais de 20 kg. O agricultor e os vizinhos dizem estarem surpresos com o que est\u00e3o vendo, ainda mais por ser uma planta\u00e7\u00e3o org\u00e2nica (sem agrot\u00f3xicos), onde a produ\u00e7\u00e3o fica mais vulner\u00e1vel aos ataques de insetos e \u00e1caros. Os tomates est\u00e3o sendo cultivados em uma estufa irrigada por gotejamento e as morangas em planta\u00e7\u00e3o consorciada com mandioca. O agricultor revelou que fez apenas uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o biol\u00f3gica e estima colher mais de 2.500 kg de tomates onde j\u00e1 est\u00e1 comercializando no com\u00e9rcio e nas resid\u00eancias do munic\u00edpio. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 de qualidade e proporciona a fam\u00edlia uma renda extra, melhorando assim a qualidade de vida.<\/p>\n
